Our Story

In 1968, Pop worked in Inglewood, California, cooking for the food service industry which serviced youthful engineers. He was listening to talk radio as they were giving information about Monosodium Glutamate (MSG). After being informed of the side effects linked MSG usage, he took it upon himself to do the mixing of all ingredients that was to be used in the preparation of food items. He took the responsibility in making sure that his young consumers were not served food that would harm them. He decided to make his own seasoning with no artificial additives, the birth of what we know today as, Pop’s seasoning. Fortunately, what Pop started has become a tradition that is to be carried on through family and others dedicated to great tasting all natural food products.
